Abstract

To identify product quality takes a continuous effort with various methods to achieve product quality continuous improvement. One of the methods to identify quality of mining heavy equipment product is to measure availability and MTBF. That two measurement are used to identify Certified Machine Rebuild (CMR) Off Highway Truck (OHT) 100 Ton class product compared to performance of the new unit to obtain recommendations for quality improvements. There are 10 components and systems identify as the main contribute downtime hours and events. Improvements recommendation result come from analyzing downtime data with it contribute parts replacement and repairs need to perform using 5 whys techniques and cause effect analysis method. FMEA method is used to prioritize improvement recommendation from computation RPN value for components and systems that identified as the main contribute downtime hours and event. The result of this research can identify the main causes of quality differences between CMR OHT 100 tons product with the new machine and provide recommendations for improvements to the Machine Rebuild Center (MRC) as the executor of the CMR product rebuild process. Keywords: Mining heavy equipment, Remanufacturing, Availability, MTBF, Cause Effect Analysis, FMEA Diperlukan upaya terus menerus untuk mengidentifasi kualitas produk dengan berbagai metode untuk mencapai perbaikan yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu metode untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas produk peralatan pertambangan adalah dengan pengukuran availability dan MTBF produk tersebut. Dua pengukuran ini yang dipergunakan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah performa kualitas produk Certified Machine Rebuild (CMR) Off Highway Truck (OHT) kelas 100 Ton dibandingkan dengan unit baru untuk kemudian mendapatkan rekomendasi perbaikan kualitas yang diperlukan. Diperoleh 10 komponen dan sistem sebagai penyebab utama tingginya jam dan jumlah even downtime. Proses rekomendasi perbaikan menggunakan data downtime dengan mengidentifikasi spare parts dan jenis perbaikan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode 5 whys techniques dan cause effect analysis. Pembuatan prioritas rekomendasi perbaikan untuk masalah kualitas yang timbul menggunakan metode FMEA berdasarkan nilai RPN dari komponen dan sistem sebagai penyebab utama downtime yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat mengidentifikasi penyebab utama perbedaan kualitas produk CMR OHT 100 Ton dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan kepada Machine Rebuild Center (MRC) sebagai pelaksana proses rebuild produk CMR.
