Abstract

This study aimed to determine and understand the correlation between social support and academic stress during post-online learning for working students. The method was taken using statistical G-Power application with an accidental sampling technique, so a sample of 111 respondents was obtained, which was brought based on coincidence and according to the specified criteria. Data was collected using the Student-Life Stress Inventory psychological scale and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). The results indicate a significant correlation between social support and academic stress (p <0.05), with a significance value of p = 0.05. The correlation coefficient of this hypothesis test is -0.826, which indicates a negative correlation between the two variables. It can be interpreted as the higher the social support received by working students, the lower the academic stress they have experienced Keywords: Social support, Working Students, Online Learning, Academic Stress Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami terkait hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan stress akademik saat pembelajaran pasca daring pada mahasiswa pekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Sampel diambil menggunakan bantuan aplikasi G-Power statistik dengan teknik sampling yakni accidental sampling, yang mana diambil berdasarkan kebetulan dan sesuai kriteria yang ditentukan berjumlah 111 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala psikologi yakni Student-life Stress Inventory dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan stress akademik (p < 0,05) dengan nilai signifikansi p=0,05. Koefisien korelasi dari uji hipotesis ini adalah -0,826 yang menunjukan hubungan negatif dari kedua variabel. Hal itu bisa diartikan dengan semakin tinggi dukungan sosial yang diterima oleh mahasiswa pekerja, maka semakin rendah pula stress akademik yang dirasakan.
