Abstract

Film has the ability to convey messages uniquely, because of the potential and strength of films that can reach a wide audience that cannot possibly be reached by audiences with direct contact. One aspect of morality in films needs to be considered because it functions to establish moral attitudes. One of the moral values in society is the value of family affection. Love is a basic human need. The true meaning of affection is how each family member gives the best for the other family members, whether it's happiness with a sense of care and also one's sacrifice for those they love without asking for anything in return for what has been done, even in a family. This study uses Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory. By using a constructivist paradigm, through a qualitative approach research type. The research method uses semiotic analysis which focuses on the meaning of each sign in the form of Denotation and Connotation only in the film Miracle In Cell No.7. In the 6 scenes examined by the researcher, there is a meaning of father's love. the first is tenderness and a touch of affection, the second is explaining what is good and bad, the third is giving attention, the fourth is appreciating the talents and potential of the child. The meaning of the denotation in the film Miracle In Cell No 7 Indonesian version is about the struggle of a father who really loves his son, he works hard and is willing to sacrifice even his life for the smooth life of his child. The meaning of the connotation in the film Miracle In Cell No 7 Indonesian version is parental love that is so broad. Parental affection can be in the form of forgiving, advising, explaining good and bad, giving attention, supporting and encouraging. Keywords: The Meaning of Affection, Film, Semiotics Film memiliki kemampuan untuk mengantar pesan secara unik, karena potensi dan kekuatan film yang dapat menjangkau kepada khalayak luas yang tidak mungkin dapat dijangkau oleh khalayak kontak langsung Salah satu aspek moralitas pada film perlu diperhatikan karena berfungsi untuk pendirian sikap moral. Salah satu nilai moral yang ada di masyarakat adalah nilai kasih sayang keluarga. Kasih sayang merupakan kebutuhan manusia yang mendasar. Makna kasih sayang yang sesungguhnya adalah bagaimana masing-masing anggota keluarga memberi yang terbaik untuk anggota keluarga yang lainnya, baik itu membahagiakan dengan rasa kepedulian dan juga pengorbanan seseorang kepada orang yang dikasihinya tanpa ada meminta imbalan atas apa yang telah dilakukan, begitupun dalam sebuah keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Semiotika Roland Barthes. Dengan Menggunakan paradigma Konstruktivis, melalui tipe penelitian pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian dengan analisis semiotika yang memfokuskan pada makna masing-masing tanda berupa Denotasi dan Konotasi saja pada film Miracle In Cell No.7. Dalam 6 scene yang diteliti oleh peneliti terdapat makna kasih sayang ayah. pertama kelembutan dan sentuhan kasih sayang, kedua menjelaskan yang baik dan buruk, ketiga memberi perhatian, keempat menghargai bakat dan potensi Anak. Makna denotasi dalam film Miracle In Cell No 7 Versi Indonesia adalah tentang perjuangan seorang ayah yang sangat menyayangi anaknya, ia bekerja keras dan rela berkorban bahkan sampai nyawa sekalipun demi kelancaran hidup anak nya. Makna konotasi dalam film Miracle In Cell No 7 Versi Indonesia yakni kasih sayang orang tua yang begitu luas. Rasa sayang orang tua dapat berupa memaafkan, menasihati, menjelaskan yang baik dan buruk, memberi perhatian, mendukung serta memberi semangat. Kata Kunci : Makna Kasih sayang , Film , Semiotik
