Abstract
The development of Information Technology has occurred significantly and continues to evolve to give effect to various fields, such as the telecommunications sector, the education sector, the health sector and the business sector. Advances in Information Technology trigger competition in the business world, especially businesses engaged in the Information Technology sector. Every company or organization competes with each other to provide the best offers and services to customers. Xyz Company is a company that provides information technology services and consulting. Project management carried out by PT. Xyz is currently still using a manual method, this makes it difficult for admins when making proposals and the project manager difficult to monitor the progress of projects being worked on by the team. This study aims to implement a management information system which is a series of comprehensive, coordinated and wellintegrated information subsystems that can transform data into information in various ways so as to increase company productivity. The system development method in this study uses the Agile Development methodology because it can meet user needs with a short development time. This system was developed using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language with CodeIgniter and MySql database. System testing in this study uses the Blackbox Testing method. The results of the study indicate that the project management information system built can facilitate and facilitate the project data management process. Keywords: Project Management, Management Information Systems, Agile Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi terjadi secara signifikan dan terus berevolusi memberikan pengaruh pada beragam bidang, seperti bidang telekomunikasi, bidang pendidikan, bidang kesehatan dan bidang bisnis. Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi memicu persaingan dalam dunia bisnis terutama bisnis yang bergerak pada bidang Teknologi Informasi. Setiap perusahaan atau organisasi saling bersaing untuk memberikan penawaran dan pelayanan terbaik kepada pelanggan. Perusahaan Xyz merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang menyediakan jasa dan konsultan teknologi informasi. Pengelolaan proyek yang dilakukan PT. Xyz pada saat ini masih menggunakan cara yang manual, hal ini membuat bagian administrasi lebih sulit dalam membuat proposal dan project manager lebih sulit untuk memantau perkembangan proyek yang dikerjakan oleh tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penerapan sistem informasi manajemen yang merupakan serangkaian subsistem informasi yang komperehensif, terkoordinasi, dan terintegrasi dengan baik yang dapat mengubah data menjadi informasi dengan berbagai cara sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan. Metode pengembangan sistem pada penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Agile Development karena dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dengan waktu pengembangan yang singkat. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dengan Codeigniter dan database MySql. Pengujian sistem pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen proyek yang dibangun dapat memfasilitasi dan memudahkan proses pengelolaan data proyek.
