Abstract

ABSTRAK Beton merupakan salah satu teknologi yang berkembang dalam bidang konstruksi pada era sekarang ini. Beton menghasilkan inovasi teknologi yang baik dan berkualitas tinggi. Nilai ekonomis tidak diabaikan dalam inovasi pembuatan beton yang memiliki kualitas daya tahan dan kokoh tinggi. Indonesia memiliki jumlah limbah ban bekas yang cukup banyak yaitu 11 juta ton per tahun. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa di Indonesia memiliki jumlah limbah ban bekas yang cukup banyak, sehingga perlu adanya pemanfaatan limbah ban bekas. Pemanfaatan limbah ban bekas yang sudah dilakukan antara lain pembuatan sendal jepit, kursi, meja, dll. Abu Ban Bekas yang digunakan didapatkan dari salah satu Pabrik di daerah Cileungsi yang kemudian diolah hingga memiliki sifat fisik yang sama dengan semen dengan variasi abu ban bekas 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% dan 15%. Pengujian nilai kuat tekan beton umur 28 hari dengan abu ban dan abu jerami mengalami penurunan nilai kuat tekan terhadap beton normal. Nilai kuat tekan beton normal tertinggi sebesar 29,08 MPa, AB 8% dan AJ 3% beton variasi tertinggi sebesar 28,87 MPa, AB 15% dan AJ 3% beton variasi terendah sebesar 25.25 MPa. Kata kunci: limbah, beton, ban bekas, abu jerami ABSTRACT Concrete is one of the developing technologies in the field of construction in the current era. Concrete produces good technological innovations and high quality. Economic value is not ignored in the innovation of making concrete that has high quality durability and strength. Indonesia has a large amount of used tire waste, namely 11 million tons per year. This proves that Indonesia has a large amount of used tire waste, so it is necessary to utilize used tire waste. Utilization of used tire waste that has been carried out includes the manufacture of flip-flops, chairs, tables, etc. The used tire ash used was obtained from a factory in the Cileungsi area which was then processed to have the same physical properties as cement with variations of used tire ash 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% and 15%. Testing the compressive strength of concrete aged 28 days with tire ash and straw ash decreased the compressive strength of normal concrete. The highest normal concrete compressive strength value was 29.08 MPa, AB 8% and AJ 3% the highest variation concrete was 28.87 MPa, AB 15% and AJ 3% concrete the lowest variation was 25.25 MPa.
