Abstract

Indonesia is still having difficulties facing challenges in maternal and child health, one of which is the mortality rate. Based on data from the Ministry of Health, the number of maternal deaths has increased by 4,627 in 2020. The importance of developing the health sector as an effort to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in Indonesia has been recognized by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, and his mission is stated in one of the Nawacita. The concept of Biophilic Architecture applied to the Hospital building itself includes natural lighting, natural products, outside views, and botanica views. It is a natural human instinct to want to feel connected to the natural environment. Nature provides mental and physical benefits. Biophilic itself is believed to reduce stress, increase creativity and clarity of mind, improve our well-being and accelerate healing; as the world's population continues to urbanize, these qualities are increasingly important. the beneficial effects of exposure to nature on health. Namely, reducing stress and later it is hoped that it can improve the healing process in patients Keywords: Hospital, Global Health, Biophilic Architecture. Indonesia masih kesulitan menghadapi tantangan dalam kesehatan ibu dan anak salah satunya adalah angka mortalitas. Berdasarkan data Kementerian Kesehatan, jumlah kematian ibu mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2020 sebesar 4.627. Pentingnya pembangunan sektor kesehatan sebagai salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Indonesia telah disadari oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia, dan misinya tercantum dalam salah satu nawacita. Konsep Arsitektur Biofilik yang diterapkan pada bangunan Rumah Sakit ini sendiri meliputi pencahayaan alami, produk alami, pemandangan luar, dan pemandangan botanica. Sudah menjadi naluri alami manusia untuk ingin merasa terhubung dengan lingkungan alam. Alam memberikan manfaat mental dan fisik. Biofilik sendiri diyakini dapat mengurangi stres, meningkatkan kreativitas dan kejernihan pikiran, meningkatkan kesejahteraan kita dan mempercepat penyembuhan; karena populasi dunia terus melakukan urbanisasi, kualitaskualitas ini semakin penting. efek menguntungkan yang ditimbulkan oleh paparan alam terhadap kesehatan. Yaitu, mengurangi stres dan nantinya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan proses penyembuhan pada pasien Kata Kunci : Rumah Sakit, Kesehatan Global, Arsitektur Biofilik.
