Abstract

Anyer Hotel Resort is a resort-themed inn located in the tourist area of Anyer beach. A resort is an inn that usually has more complete recreational support facilities than an ordinary hotel, resorts also have more attractions, such as views, atmosphere and so on. The location of the hotel which is in an area that has a tropical climate would be better built using a design suitable for that climate in order to produce a comfortable building to stay in for a long time. Anyer Hotel Resort is designed with a Modern Tropical Architecture approach, which means it is a building that is known for using natural materials or utilizing natural conditions that are sufficiently considered to represent tropical values. The arrangement of the building plan from the spaces in the building, air circulation and lighting, to the use of materials must all consider the climate and weather in the tropics. The materials used in the building do not have to be original from nature but also combined with artificial natural materials resulting from the production of modern technology. But the shape, color or texture resembles the original. Keywords: Resort, Modern Architecture, Tropical Architecture Anyer Hotel Resort merupakan sebuah penginapan yang bertemakan resort yang berlokasi di kawasan wisata pantai anyer. Resort merupakan seebuah penginapan yang biasanya memiliki fasilitas penunjang rekreasi yang lebih lengkap disbanding hotel biasa, resort juga utamanya memiliki dayatarik lebih seperti view, suasana dan sebagainya. Lokasi hotel yang berada di wilayah yang memiliki iklim tropis alangkah lebih baiknya dibangun menggunakan desain yang cocok dengan iklim tersebut agar menghasilkan bangunan yang nyaman untuk disinggahi dengan waktu yang lama. Anyer Hotel Resort di rancang dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Modern Tropis yang artinya merupakan bangunan yang dikenal menggunakan material-material alami ataupun memanfaatkan keadaan alam yang sudah cukup dianggap merepresentasikan nilai dari tropis. Penataan denah bangunan dari ruang ruang yang ada pada bangunan, sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan, sampai penggunaan material semuanya harus mempertimbangkan iklim dan cuaca yang ada di daerah tropis. Material- material yang di gunakan pada banguna tidak harus asli dari alam melainkan juga dikombinasikan dengan material alam buatan hasil dari produksi teknologi modern. Tetapi bentuk warna atau tekstur menyerupai asilinya. Kata kunci : Resort, Arsitektur Modern, Arsitektur tropis
