Abstract
Dealing with floods caused by robs and the accumulation of trash that clogs the tidal flood water suction pumps is a complex challenge that requires a comprehensive strategy. To tackle this issue, preventive measures such as sea level monitoring and developing appropriate infrastructure are essential. Moreover, managing trash effectively through a well-designed program and educating the community about trash management is also crucial. Adaptive and mitigation approaches, including designing buildings that respond to flooding are the key to protecting coastal settlements and reducing the adverse effects caused by tidal floods and trash on community activities. Keywords: building, flood, rob, trash Penanggulangan banjir yang disebabkan oleh rob dan akumulasi sampah yang menyumbat pompa penyedot air banjir rob tersebut merupakan tantangan kompleks yang membutuhkan pendekatan terpadu. Dalam upaya ini, langkah preventif seperti pemantauan tinggi air laut dan pembangunan infrastruktur yang sesuai perlu diterapkan. Selain itu, penanganan sampah melalui program pengelolaan yang efektif serta edukasi mengenai sampah terhadap masyarakat juga penting. Pendekatan adaptif dan mitigasi, termasuk dalam perancangan bangunan yang dapat merespon banjir ini menjadi kunci untuk melindungi pemukiman daerah pesisir dan mengurangi dampak buruk yang disebabkan oleh banjir rob dan sampah terhadap kegiatan masyarakatnya.
