Abstract

Consumer complaints that occur make the company try to improve the quality of the next product. Customer satisfaction is a very important point for the company and is one of the company's strategic directions to achieve superior performance. Analyze the dominant factors that cause product defects and find out how to improve product quality in increasing customer satisfaction using the DMAIC Method. The improvement methodology in Six Sigma consists of DMAIC, which stands for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control to implement product quality control using the Six Sigma method and find out the factors that cause product defects. The average value of DPMO after 2 months of corrective action is 7.275. This DPMO value decreased by 1.492 compared to the DPMO value before corrective action was taken, which was 8.766. Furthermore, the Sigma value after 2 months of corrective action was 4.01. This sigma value increased by 0.14 compared to the sigma value before corrective action was taken, which was 3.88. Keywords: DMAIC, Defect, Quality Improvement, Six Sigma, FMEA Keluhan konsumen yang terjadi membuat perusahaan berusaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk selanjutnya. Kepuasan pelanggan merupakan poin yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan dan merupakan salah satu arah strategi perusahaan untuk mencapai kinerja yang unggul.Menganalisis faktor-faktor dominan penyebab defect produk dan mencari tahu bagaimana cara meningkatkan kualitas produk dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan menggunakan Metode DMAIC. Metodologi perbaikan dalam Six Sigma terdiri dari DMAIC yang merupakan singkatan dari Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control untuk menerapkan pengendalian kualitas produk dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma dan mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab cacat produk. Nilai rata-rata DPMO setelah 2 bulan tindakan korektif adalah 7.275. Nilai DPMO ini mengalami penurunan sebesar 1,492 dibandingkan dengan nilai DPMO sebelum dilakukan tindakan korektif yaitu sebesar 8,766. Selanjutnya nilai Sigma setelah 2 bulan tindakan korektif adalah 4,01. Nilai sigma ini meningkat sebesar 0,14 dibandingkan dengan nilai sigma sebelum dilakukan tindakan korektif yaitu sebesar 3,88.
