Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios on stock returns in property & real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2016-2020. The financial ratios studied were: current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on assets (ROA), total assets turnover (TATO) and price to book value (PBV). The population in this study were property & real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research samples were 11 companies in the property & real estate sector that obtained by purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used were literature study. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression and data processing uses Eviews 10. Based on the result of the research conducted, it can be concluded that partially TATO and PBV variabel has significant effect on stock return, while CR, DER and ROA variable has no significant effect on stock return. Keywords: stock return, current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on asset (ROA), total assets turnover (TATO), dan price to book value (PBV) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio keuangan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan sektor properti & real estat yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2016-2020. Rasio keuangan yang akan diteliti yaitu: current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on asset (ROA), total assets turnover (TATO) dan price to book value (PBV). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor properti & real estat yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 11 perusahaan sektor properti & real estat yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan diolah menggunakan Eviews 10. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial variabel TATO dan PBV berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap return saham, sedangkan variabel CR, DER dan ROA tidak berpengaruh.
