Abstract

This research was conducted to determine whether there is a relationship between modelling behavior and self esteem related to trend of dress from Korea in adolescence. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlation analysis. Samples totaling 170 teenagers were taken by convenience sampling technique. The instrument used to collect research data was made by researchers who then tested the validity of assistance from IBM SPSS version 25. The results of the study showthat there is an influence of modelling behavior with self esteem regarding the trend of dress from Korea. This is evidenced by the value of the value of p <0.05. The results of the hypothesis test show that from the four aspects of modelling behavior can affect adolescent self esteem related to dress trends from Korea. The author hopes that implications of the results of this study can be reviewed and can be developed in future studies. For example by adding other variables related to modeling behavior that can be analyzed as IV which might have a major influence on modeling behavior towards adolescents. Key words : Modeling Behavior, Self Esteem, Youth Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah adanya hubungan Perilaku Modelling dengan Self Esteem terkait tren berbusana dari Korea pada usia remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi. Sampel berjumlah 170 remaja yang diambil dengan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian dibuat oleh peneliti yang kemudian diuji validitasnya bantuan dari IBM SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan perilaku modelling dengan self esteem terkait tren berbusana dari Korea. Ini dibuktikan dengan nilai taraf hasil nilai p < 0.05. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa dari empat aspek perilaku modelling dapat mempengaruhi self esteem pada usia remaja terkait tren berbusana dari Korea. Penulis berharap implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dikaji kembalidan dapat dikembangkan pada penelitian selanjutnya. Misalnya dengan menambahkan variabel lain yang terkait dengan perilaku modelling yang dapat dianalisa sebagai IV yang mungkin memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap perilaku modelling terhadap remaja.
