Abstract

PT Panjang Jiwo is a business-oriented manufacturing company specializing in the production of Beverages Containing Ethyl Alcohol (BCEA). The area for sorting used glass bottles still uses manual handling which is at high risk of experiencing Musculosceletal Disorders complaints. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the risk level of Musculosceletal Disorders, the mass limit of workers' loads and to provide suggestions for improving work aids in order to reduce complaints of felt muscle pain. The Nordic Body Map, Rapid Entire Body Assessment, and Recommended Weight Limit are the ergonomic approaches used in this study. The NBM is used to find out a person's body complaints starting from the neck to the feet, the REBA method is used to analyze body posture and the RWL method is to analyze human strength in lifting or moving loads and recommending limit loads that can be lifted. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the occurrence of MSDs disorders in workers who experience complaints in the limbs of the neck, shoulders, upper arms, forearms and knees. Analysis of the posture of PT Panjang Jiwo used glass bottle sorter workers has a risk of 8, which is high and the third to eighth pile has a moderate risk. Meanwhile, the weight of the second pile shows the maximum mass limit that can be lifted is 1.79 kg with a Lifting Index value of 1.07. The tool designed is in the form of a scissor lift that can lift loads to a certain height and can reduce complaints of Musculosceletal Disorders among used glass bottle sorters at PT Panjang Jiwo. PT Panjang Jiwo merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang berorientasi bisnis dengan spesialisasi produksi Minuman Mengandung Etil Alkohol (MMEA). Area penyortiran botol kaca bekas masih menggunakan manual handling yang beresiko tinggi mengalami keluhan Musculosceletal Disorders. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi tingkat resiko Musculosceletal Disorders, batas massa beban pekerja serta memberikan usulan perbaikan alat bantu kerja agar dapat mengurangi keluhan sakit otot yang dirasakan. Nordic Body Map, Rapid Entire Body Assessment, dan Recommended Weight Limit merupakan pendekatan ergonomi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. NBM digunakan untuk mengetahui keluhan tubuh seseorang yang dimulai dari leher sampai kaki, metode REBA digunakan untuk menganalisis postur tubuh dan metode RWL untuk menganalisis terhadap kekuatan manusia dalam mengangkat atau memindahkan beban serta merekomendasikan batas beban yang dapat diangkat. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadinya gangguan MSDs pada pekerja yang mengalami keluhan dibagian anggota tubuh leher, bahu, lengan bagian atas, lengan bagian bawah dan lutut. Analisis postur tubuh pekerja penyortir botol kaca bekas PT Panjang Jiwo memiliki resiko 8 yaitu tinggi dan pada tumpukan ketiga sampai kedelapan memiliki resiko sedang. Sedangkan untuk berat beban dari tumpukan kedua menunjukkan batas maksimum massa beban yang dapat diangkat adalah 1,79 Kg dengan nilai Lifting Index 1,07. Alat bantu yang dirancang berupa scissor lift yang dapat mengangkat beban keketinggian tertentu dan dapat mengurangi keluhan Musculosceletal Disorders pada pekerja penyortir botol kaca bekas di PT Panjang Jiwo.
