Abstract

PT. Amanah Prima Indonesia is a company that produces packaged fruit juices in various flavors and sizes ranging from 250 ml, 1000 ml and 5000 ml. The purpose of this study was to measure the physical workload and mental workload received by workers, then look for the factors that cause workload, after that recommend suggestions for improvement. The problem that occurs is that workers experience fatigue due to work and cause workers to get sick and there is no further measurement of the workload received by workers in the Production Department of PT. Amanah prima Indonesia, so that from these problems researchers used two methods namely CVL (Cardiovascular Load) and NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index). This research was conducted by measuring 18 RTD and Minibar division workers. The results of the research that has been done show that in measuring the physical workload, 12 workers who received heavy workloads were included in the category needed repair (30% -60%), while 6 workers were included in the category where fatigue did not occur (<30%). In the mental workload, 2 people fall into the moderate category (10-19), 11 people fall into the moderately high category (20-49), and 5 people fall into the high category (50-79). The causes of workload are caused by man, machine, method, and environmental factors. The recommendations given are by improving the division of tasks, adding stainless steel tables, making the best employee assessments every month, making work instructions in divisions, replacing more sophisticated tools, carrying out maintenance more routinely, stocking spare parts, and adding facilities such as fans and exhaust. Amanah Prima Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi jus buah dalam kemasan dengan berbagai macam rasa dengan ukuran yang bervariatif mulai dari 250 ml, 1000 ml, dan 5000 ml. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur beban kerja fisik dan beban kerja mental yang diterima pekerja, kemudian mencari faktor penyebab terjadinya beban kerja, setelah itu merekomendasikan usulan perbaikan. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu pekerja mengalami kelelahan akibat bekerja dan mengakibatkan pekerja sakit dan belum adanya pengukuran lebih lanjut mengenai beban kerja yang diterima pekerja dibagian Departemen Produksi PT. Amanah prima Indonesia, sehingga dari permasalahan tersebut peneliti menggunakan dua metode yaitu CVL (Cardiovascular Load) dan NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengukur 18 pekerja divisi RTD dan Minibar. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui dalam pengukuran beban kerja fisik 12 pekerja yang menerima beban kerja berat masuk dalam kategori diperlukan perbaikan (30%-60%), sedangkan 6 pekerja masuk dalam kategori tidak terjadi kelelahan (<30%). Dalam beban kerja mental 2 orang masuk dalam kategori sedang (10-19), 11 orang masuk dalam kategori cukup tinggi (20-49), dan 5 orang masuk dalam kategori tinggi (50- 79). Penyebab terjadinya beban kerja diakibatkan oleh faktor manusia, mesin, metode, dan lingkungan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu dengan memperbaiki pembagian tugas, penambahan meja stainless steel, membuat penilaian karyawan terbaik setiap bulan, membuat pentunjuk kerja dalam divisi, mengganti alat yang lebih canggih, maintenance dilakukan secara lebih rutin, menyetok spare part, dan penambahan fasilitas seperti kipas angin dan exhaust.
