Abstract
The purpose of this study was to empirically the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, and Firm Size on Financial Distress. This research was conducted on Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2015-2019. The population in this study amounted to 26 companies in the 2015- 2019 period. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method. Samples that meet the criteria are 14 companies. Data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Profitability and Liquidity have a significant effect on Financial Distress while Company Size has no significant effect on Financial Distress. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Company Size, Financial Distress. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Financial Distress. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan Food and Beverage yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) 2015-2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 26 Perusahaan dalam periode tahun 2015-2019. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang memenuhi kriteria sebanyak 14 perusahan. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi liniear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Profitabilitas dan Likuiditas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress sedangkan Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Financial Distress.
