Abstract

Industri perhotelan berada dalam keadaan yang terus berubah akibat munculnya covid-19, persaingan yang tinggi, dan krisis ekonomi. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut tentu menjadi tantangan bagi bisnis perhotelan dalam menjaga keberlangsungan bisnis yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan dari tenaga kerja yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini membahas masalah job insecurity dan stres kerja pada turnover intention pada karyawan hotel berbintang di DKI Jakarta dimana data primer penelitian ini diambil melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 150 responden. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel non-probabilitas dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis penelitian menggunakan Structural Equation Model dan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Structural Positive and Equation Model (SEM) Partial Least Square (smartPLS 4.0) untuk menguji hipotesis dalam model mediasi dengan metode bootstrapping. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa job insecurity tidak berpengaruh pada turnover intention. Stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada turnover intention. Job insecurity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada stres kerja. Stres kerja memiliki peran yang positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi pengaruh job insecurity pada turnover intention. Kata kunci: Job Insecurity, Stres Kerja, Turnover Intention Hotel industry is in a state of perpetual change due to the emergence of covid-19, high competition, and the economic crisis. Based on that situation, this research study discusses the effects of job insecurity and job stress on turnover intention and also the mediating role of job stress. A total of 150 surveys were conducted in stars hotel in DKI Jakarta by adapting non-probability sample using purposive sampling technique. This research study was used the Structural Equation Model and processed with Structural Positive and Equation Model (SEM) Partial Least Square (Smart PLS) software to test the hypotheses in a mediation model with the bootstrapping method. The result presents that job insecurity had insignificant influence on turnover intention while job stress was positive and significant on turnover intention, job insecurity was positive and significant on job stress, and mediating relationship was also confirmed.
