Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) on Price to Book Value (PBV) on the LQ 45 index for the 2017-2019 period. The population in this study is the LQ 45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange totaling 45 companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and the selected sample was 32 companies. The data collection technique uses the documentation method by tracing the historical data of the IDX LQ45 annual company, the object of research is the LQ45 index company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the data analysis technique uses panel data regression analysis and the best research model isthe fixed effect model. The results showed that Return On Assets (ROA) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) together had a significant effect on Price to Book Value (PBV). However, partially, it shows that Return on Assets(ROA) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) have no significant effect on Price to Book Value (PBV) on the LQ 45 index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 - 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Retur On Asset (ROA) dan Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) terhadap Price to Book Value (PBV) pada indeks LQ 45 periode 2017-2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan indeks LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia berjumlah 45 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan sampel yang terpilih adalah 32 perusahaan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dengan cara menelusuri data historis perusahaan tahunan IDX LQ45 objek penelitian yakni perusahaan indeks LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dan model penelitian yang paling terbaik adalah fixed effect model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Return On Asset (ROA) dan Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Price to Book Value (PBV). Namun secara parsial menunjukkan Return On Asset (ROA) dan Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Price to Book Value (PBV) pada indeks LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017 - 2019.
