Abstract

Financial distress indicates a company's financial Condition that was experiencing a decline prior to bankruptcy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Return On Assets Ratio, Debt to Assets Ratio, and Working Capital Turnover Ratio to predict Financial distress in manufacturing companies in the Consumer Goods Industry sub-sector listed On the Indonesian stock exchange in 2016- 2018. The sampling technique used in this study was the saturated sempel method (census). Based On this method, 51 companies are listed On the IDX and 42 companies as the target populatiOn of the study match the criteria, so that in 3 years of research, 126 data were obtained as samples of observations. The analysis method used is logistic regressiOn. Based On the research results, it is known that the Working Capital Turnover Ratio Variable has no significant effect in affecting Financial distress, Return On Assets and Debt asset Ratio has a significant effect in predicting Financial distress. Keywords: Financial distress,Return On Assets Ratio, Debt to Assets Ratio, and Working Capital Turnover Ratio Financial distress menunjukkan Kondisi keuangan perusahaan yang sempat mengalami penurunan sebelum bangkrut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio Return On Asset, Debt asset Ratio, dan Working Capital Turnover Ratio terhadap prediksi Financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor industri barang kOnsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016- 2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sempel jenuh (sensus). Berdasarkan metode ini didapatkan 51 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI dan diperoleh 42 perusahaan sebagai populasi target penelitian yang sesuai dengan kriteria, sehingga dalam 3 tahun penelitian diperoleh 126 data sebagai sampel amatan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa variabel Working Capital Turnover Ratio berpengaruh tidak signifikan dalam mempengaruhi Financial distress, Return On Asset dan Debt asset Ratio berpengaruh signifikan dalam memprediksi Financial distress.
