Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial performance on financial distress. The population in this study are retail trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2019. The sample used is as many as 10 companies. Sampling method using saturated sampling. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation. The data analysis method used panel data regression. This study proves that liquidity and profitability have a positive and significant effect on financial difficulties. leverage has a negative and significant effect on financial distress. Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage and Financial Distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap finacial distress. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran yang tedaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2015- 2019. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi data panel. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa likuiditas dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci: Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Leverage dan Financial Distress
