Abstract

Three-arm intersection Jl. Raya Kapuk-Jl. The Police Post located in the DKI Jakarta area has a heavy traffic volume. This three-arm intersection connects major roads, namely Jl. Kapuk Raya and minor roads namely Jl. Police station. At this intersection, traffic jams often occur, this is due to the fact that this area is an industrial area as a center for generating traffic movements. At the intersection area there are also activity centers such as government offices, schools, health centers, markets, and others. With the existence of this activity center, the movement of traffic is concentrated at that location so that congestion occurs. An analytical study is needed that aims to determine the performance of the unsignalized three-arm intersection at Jalan Kapuk Raya – Jalan Pos Polisi, West Jakarta, as measured by capacity, degree of saturation, and level of service. The analysis method used is the Indonesia Road Capacity Manual 1997 (MKJI 1997) using a software called KAJI. From the results of research using the KAJI software in the existing conditions, it was found that the capacity was 2451 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation was 1.26, the intersection delay was 73,73 sec/pcu, and the probability of queuing was 66-136%. Based on the results of research and calculations, the performance of the intersection has a service level F based on the degree of saturation. By using alternative 3, a capacity of 3695 pcu/hour is obtained, the degree of saturation is 0,64, the intersection delay is 10,44 sec/pcu, and the queue probability is 16-34%. With this figure, the performance of the intersection has a service level C based on the degree of saturation. Keywords: Unsignalized Intersection, Congestion, Performance, MKJI 1997, KAJI Software. Simpang tiga lengan Jl. Raya Kapuk-Jl. Pos Polisi yang berada di wilayah DKI Jakarta memiliki volume lalu lintas yang padat. Simpang tiga lengan ini menghubungkan jalan mayor yaitu Jl. Kapuk Raya dan jalan minor yaitu Jl. Pos Polisi. Pada simpang tersebut seringkali terjadi kemacetan, hal ini diakibatkan karena pada area tersebut merupakan kawasan industri sebagai pusat bangkitan pergerakan lalu lintas. Pada area simpang tersebut juga terdapat pusat kegiatan seperti kantor pemerintahan, sekolah, pusat kesehatan, pasar, dan lain-lain. Dengan adanya pusat kegiatan tersebut maka pergerakan lalu lintas terpusat pada lokasi tersebut sehingga terjadi kemacetan. Diperlukan suatu studi analisa yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja simpang tiga lengan tak bersinyal Jalan Kapuk Raya – Jalan Pos Polisi Jakarta Barat yang diukur berdasarkan kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, dan tingkat pelayanan (Level Of Service). Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI 1997) dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak yang disebut KAJI. Dari hasil penelitian menggunakan perangkat lunak KAJI pada kondisi eksisting didapatkan kapasitas sebesar 2451 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan sebesar 1,26, tundaan simpang sebesar 73,73 det/smp, dan peluang antrian sebesar 66-136%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perhitungan, kinerja simpang tersebut memiliki tingkat pelayanan F berdasarkan derajat kejenuhannya. Dengan menggunakan alternatif 3, didapatkan kapasitas sebesar 3695 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan didapat sebesar 0,64, tundaan simpang sebesar 10,44 det/smp, dan peluang antrian sebesar 16-34%. Dengan angka tersebut, kinerja simpang tersebut memiliki tingkat pelayanan C berdasarkan derajat kejenuhannya.
