Abstract

The Tanah Tinggi Barat signalized intersection, located in Senen sub-district, Central Jakarta, has a fairly high density and busy traffic flow, especially in the morning and evening which are the peak hours when residents commute to and from work. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance value or Level of Service (LOS) of signalized intersections on West Tanah Tinggi roads especially during rush hour. The method used is MKJI 1997 and Shock Wave analysis. Based on the results of analysis using the MKJI 1997 method of existing data, Level Of Service (LOS) F is obtained which indicates a poor level of service with a vehicle delay value = 196 seconds/pcu, queue length = 689 meters, and degree of saturation value (DS) = 1 11. Based on the results of the calculation of the shock wave analysis at the intersection of Jalan Tanah Tinggi Barat, Senen District, Central Jakarta, it also obtained very low performance results (category F) where the queue length = 815 m and the delay value = 170 seconds/pcu. Improvements in the first alternative still get a LOS value = F but the delay value = 62 seconds and the queue = 310 m is getting better. Improvements in the second alternative have increased LOS to D where the value of the delay = 38 seconds and the queue = 259 m. Keywords: Signalized Intersection, Road Performance (LOS), Service level delay, MKJI 1997, Greenberg, Greenshield, Underwood and Shock Wave Simpang bersinyal Tanah Tinggi Barat yang berlokasi di kecamatan Senen Jakarta Pusat, memiliki kepadatan yang cukup tinggi dan arus lalu lintas yang sibuk khususnya di pagi dan sore hari yang merupakan jam puncak di mana warga bepergian ke dan dari tempat bekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui nilai kinerja atau Level of Service (LOS) simpang bersinyal pada jalan Tanah Tinggi Barat khusunya pada jam sibuk. Metode yang digunakan yaitu MKJI 1997 dan analisi Gelombang Kejut. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis dengan metode MKJI 1997 data eksisting, didapatkan Level Of Service (LOS) F yang menunjukan tingkat pelayanan yang buruk dengan nilai tundaan kendaraan = 196 detik/smp, panjang antrian = 689 meter, dan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS)=1,11 .Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis gelombang kejut pada simpang Jalan Tanah Tinggi Barat Kecamatan Senen Jakarta Pusat ini juga mendapatkan hasil kinerja sangat rendah (kategori F) dimana panjang antrian = 815 m dan nilai tundaan = 170 detik/smp. Perbaikan pada alternatif pertama masih mendapatkan nilai LOS = F namun nilai tundaan = 62 detik dan antrian = 310 m semakin membaik. Perbaikan pada alternatif kedua mengalami peningkatan LOS menjadi D dimana nilai tundaan = 38 detik dan antrian = 259 m.
