Abstract

The important thing for investors, especially in making stock investment decisions, is to measure financial ratios company. One of the important financial ratios in looking at the company's financial health is to use the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) because the dividend payout ratio will provide an overview of the profits and dividends generated by the company. This study was conducted to examine the effect of the variables Return On Equity, Net profit margin, Current Ratio, and Debt To Equity Ratio on the Dividend Payout Ratio. The research methodology used as a sample collection using purposive sampling method. A total of 5 samples were obtained from 23 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data analysis used panel data regression analysis with F-statistic model feasibility test and t-statistic hypothesis test. The results showed that Return On Equity and Current Ratio have a positive effect on Dividend Payout Ratio. Meanwhile, Net Profit Margin and Debt to Equity Ratio have a negative effect on Dividend Payout Ratio. Keywords : Return On Equity, Net profit margin, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Dividend Payout Ratio Hal yang penting bagi para investor khususnya dalam mengambil keputusan investasi saham adalah dengan mengukur rasio keuangan perusahaan. Rasio keuangan yang penting dalam melihat kesehatan keuangan perusahaan salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) karena dividend payout ratio akan memberikan gambaran tentang laba dan dividen yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel Return On Equity, Net profit margin, Current Ratio, dan Debt To Equity Ratio terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan sebagai koleksi sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sebanyak 5 sampel diperoleh dari 23 perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan anaisis regresi data panel dengan uji kelayakan model F-statistic dan uji hipotesis t-statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Return On Equity dan Current Ratio memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio. Sementara, Net Profit Margin dan Debt to Equity Ratio memiliki pengaruh negative terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio.
