Abstract

This study aims to build a model by linking the role of the work environment and employee work conflicts mediated by the level of work stress on turnover intention. In this study, the research design was used, namely the type of causal research. The independent variables in this study are work environment and work family conflict. The dependent variable in this study is turnover intention. The population in this study were employees of PT. Carvil Abadi Modern Trade Division with a total of 220 people. In this study, the authors used data collection techniques with library research and field research. The analysis technique used is the confirmatory factor in SEM and Regression Weights. The results showed that, 1) the work environment at PT. Carvil Abadi has no effect on work stress, 2) job stress at PT. Carvil Abadi Modern Trade Division has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, 3) work stress mediates the relationship between work-family conflict and turnover intention, and 4) work stress does not mediate the relationship between work environment and turnover intention. Keywords:employee work conflict, turnover intention, work stress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun permodelan dengan mengaitkan peran lingkungan kerja, dan konflik kerja karyawan dengan dimediasi oleh tingkat stress kerja terhadap turnover intention. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan desain penelitian yaitu jenis penelitian kausal. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini yaitu, lingkungan kerja (work environment) dan konflik kerja-keluarga (work family conflict). Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini yaitu minat berpindah karyawan (turnover intention). Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu karyawan PT. Carvil Abadi Divisi Modern Trade dengan jumlah 220 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu faktor konfirmatori pada SEM dan Regression Weights. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) lingkungan kerja di PT. Carvil Abadi tidak berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja, 2) stres kerja di PT. Carvil Abadi Divisi Modern Trade berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, 3) stres kerja memediasi hubungan antara work-family conflict dan turnover intention, dan 4) stres kerja tidak memediasi hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dan turnover intention.
