Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the determinants of dividend policy in automotive and component manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2014-2019. The data obtained were 7 companies with the 2014-2019 period and were carried out with 5 research variables. , namely 4 independent variables: Cash Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) and 1 dependent variable: Dividend Policy. The analysis method used is panel data regression with the common effect model approach. The results of the study indicate that Cash Ratio (CR) and Return On Assets (ROA) have no positive and insignificant effect on Dividend Policy, Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) has a negative and significant effect on Dividend Policy. And Total Assets Turnover (TATO) has no negative and insignificant effect on dividend policy. Keywords: Cash Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turnover (TATO) and Dividend Policy Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis Determinan Kebijakan Dividen pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Otomotif dan Komponen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2014 – 2019. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak 7 perusahaan dengan kurun waktu 2014-2019 dan dihubungkan dengan 5 variabel penelitian, yaitu 4 variabel independen : Cash Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Total Assets Turnover (TATO) dan 1 variabel dependen : Kebijakan Dividen. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi data panel dengan pendekatan common effect model. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cash Ratio (CR) dan Return On Assets (ROA) tidak berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen, Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen. Dan Total Assets Turnover (TATO) tidak berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen.
