Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial distress and audit opinion on audit delay with the reputation of the hood as moderation in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) food and beverage subsector in 2013-2016. The research method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The population in this study are all publicly listed companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which are engaged in the food and beverage sub-sector in 2013-2016. Samples that met the criteria of 14 companies for 4 years to become 56 samples of the study population. The results of this study were determined: 1) Financial Distress had no effect on Audit Delay; 2) Audit opinion influences Audit Delay; 3) Financial Distress moderated by the reputation of the hood does not affect the Audit Delay; 4) Audit opinion which is moderated by the hood's reputation influences Audit Delay. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial distress dan opini audit terhadap audit delay dengan reputasi kap sebagai moderasi pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) subsektor makanan dan minuman pada tahun2013-2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan go public yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yang bergerak dalam bidang subsektor makanan dan minuman pada tahun 2013-2016. Sampel yang memenuhi kriteria sebanyak 14 perusahaan selama 4 tahun sehingga menjadi 56 sampel populasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini didapkan : 1) Financial Distress tidak berpengaruh terhadap Audit Delay; 2) Opini Audit berpengaruh terhadap Audit Delay; 3) Financial Distress dimoderasi oleh reputasi kap tidak berpengaruh terhadap Audit Delay; 4) Opini Audit yang dimoderasi oleh reputasi kap berpengaruh terhadap Audit Delay.
