Abstract

The development of the manufacturing industry at this time demands competition between industry players to get customers by creating quality products. Starting from the provision of the best raw materials, the use of machines with sophisticated technology, effective and efficient production systems, human resources with competent expertise, to providing better service than competitors so that customer satisfaction is met, thus encouraging consumers to become loyal customers. loyal. Therefore, this condition requires companies to manage their resources effectively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the distribution process or flow to reduce the number of defective products. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative approach with the DMAIC method to analyze the causes of defective products and improve the product quality of You C1000 bottles. The results of this study are to identify and define the existing problems and the causes of defective products, then measure CTQ (critical to quality) and DPMO, after that analyze the causes of defective products with fishbone diagrams and make improvements using the 5W+1H (When, Why, Who, Where, What and How) and the results of this study are the proposed use of check sheets for quality control documentation. Keywords: DMAIC, CTQ, DPMO, Fishbone Diagram, 5W+1H, Quality Control Perkembangan dunia industri manufaktur pada saat ini menuntut persaingan antar pelaku industri untuk mendapatkan pelanggan dengan menciptakan produk yang berkualitas. Mulai dari penyediaan bahan baku yang terbaik, penggunaan mesin dengan teknologi yang canggih, sistem distribusi yang efektif dan efisien, sumber daya manusia dengan keahlian yang kompeten, sampai dengan memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik dari kompetitor sehingga kepuasan pelanggan terpenuhi sehingga mendorong konsumen untuk menjadi pelanggan yang setia. Oleh karena itu, kondisi ini mengharuskan perusahaan untuk mengolah sumberdaya yang dimiliki secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses atau alur pendistribusian untuk mengurangi jumlah produk cacat. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode DMAIC untuk menganalisa penyebab produk cacat dan memperbaiki kualitas produk botol You C1000. Hasil penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendefinisikan masalah yang ada dan yang menjadi penyebab produk cacat, lalu mengukur CTQ (critical to quality) dan DPMO, setelah itu melakukan analisa penyebab produk cacat dengan diagram tulang ikan dan melakukan perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode 5W+1H (When, Why, Who, Where, What and How) dan hasil penelitian ini adalah usulan penggunaan check sheet untuk dokumentasi pengendalian kualitas.
