Abstract
Hotel and Resort is a place that accommodates for visitors tourism in which there are places to stay as the main room and is equipped with other functions, namely conventions and infrastructure facilities. Tourism and hospitality industry has a close connection because the hotel is a principal means of tourism (main tourism superstructures), which means life and life a lot depends on the number of tourists coming. Local concepts in the tradition of Sundanese an important cornerstone in the development of the idea behind it. While the economic sududtBandung city government in this regard to give attention to the development of the tourism sector in the city with the aim of obtaining a positive impact on the tourism industry such as roads to the tourist attraction that certainly will have an impact for improving the local economy and make the tourism industry a potential source for revenue to local revenue. Key word : Hotel, Resort, Contour Hotel dan Resort merupakan tempat yang mengakomodasi bagi pengunjung pariwisata yang didalamnya terdapat tempat menginap sebagai ruang utama dan dilengkapi dengan fungsi lainnya yaitu konvensi serta sarana prasarananya. Industri pariwisata dan perhotelan memiliki kaitan yang erat karena hotel merupakan sarana pokok kepariwisataan (main tourism superstructures) yang berarti hidup dan kehidupannya banyak tergantung pada jumlah wisatawan yang datang. Konsep-konsep lokal dalam tradisi sunda merupakan landasan penting dalam pengembangan gagasan yang melatarbelakanginya. Sementara dari sududt ekonomi Pemerintah kota bandung dalam hal ini memberikan perhatian bagi perkembangan sektor pariwisata di kota Bandung dengan tujuan memperoleh dampak positif dari industri pariwisata seperti jalan untuk menuju obyek wisata yang tentunya akan berdampak bagi peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat dan menjadikan industri pariwisata sumber potensial bagi pemasukan pendapatan daerah.
