Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial distress in land transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using the Zmijewski, Altman ZScore and Springate methods. The sample used in this study were six land transportation service companies with a total of thirty financial reports for five years. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of calculations and discussions using the Zmijewski method show that there are land transportation service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period that experienced financial distress, namely SDMU in 2019, TAXI in 2017-2019, and ZBRA in 2015-2019. The results of calculations and discussions using the Altman Z-Score method illustrate that there are five of the six land transportation service companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period experiencing financial distress. These companies include MIRA in 2015-2019, SDMU in 2018 and 2019, TAXI in 2017-2019, WEHA in 2015-2019 and ZBRA in 2015-2019. The results of calculations and discussions using the Springate method show that all land transportation service companies listed on the BEI for the 2015-2019 period experienced financial distress except WEHA in 2017 Keyword: financial distress, Zmijewski, Altman Z-Score, Springate Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis financial distress pada perusahaan sektor transportasi darat yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Zmijewski, Altman Z-Score dan Springate. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah enam perusahaan jasa transportasi darat dengan total laporan keuangan selama lima tahun berjumlah tiga puluh laporan keuangan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan dengan metode Zmijewski menunjukan bahwa terdapat perusahaan jasa trasnportasi darat yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2015-2019 yang mengalami financial distress yaitu SDMU pada tahun 2019, TAXI pada tahun 2017- 2019, dan ZBRA pada tahun 2015-2019. Hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan dengan metode Altman Z-Score menggambarkan bahwa terdapat lima dari enam perusahaan jasa transportasi darat yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2015-2019 mengalami financial distress. Perusahaan tersebut diantaranya adalah MIRA pada tahun 2015- 2019, SDMU pada tahun 2018 dan 2019, TAXI pada tahun 2017-2019, WEHA pada tahun 2015-2019 dan ZBRA pada tahun 2015-2019. Hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan dengan metode Springate menunjukkan bahwa semua perusahaan jasa transportasi darat yang terdaftar di BEI periode tahun 2015-2019 mengalami financial distress kecuali WEHA pada tahun 2017 Kata kunci: financial distress, Zmijewski, Altman Z-Score, Springate
