Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity and solvency on firm value in coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The sample selection used in this study used the saturated sample method and obtained 7 companies as samples. Research data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used is the panel data regression method with the selected test is the random effect model. Partially shows that the liquidity variable has no effect while the solvency variable has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Keywords: firm value, liquidity, and solvency Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas dan solvabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan sub sektor pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dan diperoleh 7 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode regresi data panel dengan pengujian yang dipilih adalah model random effect. Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel likuiditas tidak berpengaruh sedangkan variabel solvabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
