Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of lifestyle on quality of life for students at West Jakarta Private University, to identify and analyze the influence of the social environment on quality of life for students at West Jakarta Private University, and to identify and analyze the effect of family support on quality of life in students at West Jakarta Private University. This research is a quantitative research with a causal research design. This research was conducted at a private university in West Jakarta. The research was conducted from June to August 2022. The maximum sample size in this study was 265 respondents. The data collection method used is a questionnaire/questionnaire by giving a checklist (√). The Likert scale used in this study has four dimensions for lifestyle, social environment, family support, and quality of life. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Smart-PLS analysis tool. The results showed that the lifestyle variable had a significant positive effect on the Quality of Life. The greater the student's lifestyle, the greater the quality of life of the student. The results of the study also show that the social environment variable has a significant positive effect on the quality of life. The greater the involvement and interaction with the social environment, the greater the quality of life of the student. In addition, the research results also show that the family support variable has a significant positive effect on the quality of life. The greater the family support, the greater the quality of life of the student. Keyword: Lifestyle, social environment, family support, quality of life Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap quality of life pada mahasiswa di Universitas Swasta Jakarta Barat, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap quality of life pada mahasiswa di Universitas Swasta Jakarta Barat, dan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap quality of life pada mahasiswa di Universitas Swasta Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan desain yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian kausal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Swasta yang berada dii Jakarta Barat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni hingga bulan Agustus 2022. Jumlah sampel maksimal dalam penelitian ini adalah 265 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket/ kuesioner dengan memberikan tanda checklist (√). Skala Likert yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berdimensi empat untuk gaya hidup, lingkungan sosial, dukungan keluarga, dan kualitas hidup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakand alam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan alat analisis Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Gaya hidup berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap quality of life. Semakin besar Gaya hidup mahasiswa maka semakin besar juga quality of life mahasiswa tersebut. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel Lingkungan sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap quality of life. Semakin besar keterlibatan dan interaksi dengan Lingkungan sosial maka semakin besar juga quality of life mahasiswa tersebut. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel Dukungan keluarga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap quality of life. Semakin besar Dukungan keluarga maka semakin besar juga quality of life mahasiswa tersebut. Kata Kunci: Gaya hidup, lingkungan sosial, dukungan keluarga, kualitas hidup
