Abstract
Reputasi merupakan persepsi yang menggambarkan keseluruhan perilaku organisasi itu sendiri beserta hubungannya dengan para Stakeholder yang terbentuk seiring berjalannya waktu. Sebagai salah satu organisasi keprofesian Public Relations tertua di Indonesia yakni, Perhimpunan Hubungan Masyarakat Indonesia (PERHUMAS) selalu berusaha dan konsisten dalam menjaga reputasinya. Salah satu yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan Strategi Public Relations Perhimpunna Hubungan Masyarakat Indonesia (PERHUMAS) Dalam Mengelola Reputasi Organisasi (Studi Kasus Pada 50 Tahun Perhumas) untuk membentuk citra positif publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep strategi Public Relations dalam mengelola reputasi organisasi PERHUMAS, yaitu fact finding, planning, acting & communicating, dan evaluation. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara secara mendalam dengan Ketua Umum, Dewan Kehormatan, Ketua Bidang, dan Tim Sekretariat. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, PERHUMAS pada tahapan fact finding, melakukan analisa untuk mengatasi publik internal mereka. Pada tahapan planning, PERHUMAS membuat tahapan program dengan tujuan agar publik mengetahui tentang ilmu kehumasan. Lalu pada tahapan acting & communication, melakukan program sesuai dengan tujuan. Kemudian pada tahap evaluation, PERHUMAS melakukan evaluasi untuk publik internal dan publik eksternal sebagai bahan pertimbangan. PERHUMAS sudah berhasil membentuk reputasi organisasinya. Kata Kunci: Strategi, Komunikasi, Public Relations, Reputasi, Perhimpunan Hubungan Masyarakat Indonesia (PERHUMAS) Reputation is a perception that describes the overall behavior of the organization itself and its relationship with stakeholders that is formed over time. As one of the oldest Public Relations professional organizations in Indonesia, the Indonesian Public Relations Association (PERHUMAS) always tries and is consistent in maintaining its reputation. One of the things that were done was to carry out the Public Relations Strategy of the Indonesian Public Relations Association (PERHUMAS) in Managing the Reputation of the Organization (Case Study on 50 Years of Public Relations) to form a positive public image. This research uses the concept of Public Relations strategy in managing the reputation of the Public Relations organization, namely fact-finding, planning, acting & communicating, and evaluation. The type of research used is qualitative research. The method used is a case study with its data collection technique using in-depth interviews of the Chairman, Honorary Council, Head of Field, and Secretariat Team. Based on the results of the study, shows that Public Relations at the fact- finding stage, analyze to overcome their internal public. At the planning stage, Perhumas makes program stages intending to let the public know about public relations science. Then at the acting & communication stage, carry out the program according to the objectives. Then at the evaluation stage, Perhumas evaluates the internal public and the external public consideration. Perhumas has already managed to shape the reputation of its organization.
