Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the current ratio, debt to equity ratio and total assets turnover in predicting financial distress conditions in textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The population that will be used in this study are all textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period, with a population of 21. The sample that will be used in this study is 10 samples of textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The sampling method in this study uses a purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of samples is not random whose information is obtained using certain criteria. The data collection method uses library research techniques with secondary data types, namely data that has been processed or presented through the IDX website. The data processing method in this study uses panel data regression analysis with the help of EViews version 10 software. The results show that partially curent ratio and debt to equity ratio have no effect on financial distress, while total asset turnover has a positive and significant effect on financial distress in companies. the textile and garment sub-sector recorded in the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2016- 2020 period. Keywords: current ratio, debt to equity ratio, total assets turnover and financial distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh current ratio, debt to equity ratio dan total assets turnover dalam memprediksi kondisi financial distress pada perusahaan sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020. Populasi yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020 yaitu sebanyak 21 populasi. Sampel yang akan digunakan penelitian ini sebanyak 10 sampel perusahaan sub sektor tekstik dan garmen yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2016-2020. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu pemilihan sampel secara tidak acak yang informasinya diperoleh dengan menggunakan kriteria tertentu. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik studi kepustakaan dengan tipe data sekunder yaitu data yang telah diolah atau disajikan melalui website BEI. Metode pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan software EViews versi 10. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial curent ratio dan debt to equity ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress, sedangkan total asset turnover berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang tercatat di Busra Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020.
