Abstract

This research was conducted at the Smart Syahidah Full Day School Elementary School and the Balaraja 2 Public Elementary School, which aims to compare the empathy level of elementary schools that do not implement the 15-minute reading literacy program or those that implement the reading literacy program. The benefit of this study is to determine the results of both of them, the theory of empathy is used as material for this study. This research method uses comparative descriptive quantitative with descriptive test analysis techniques, and independent sample t-test hypothesis testing. The results of this study through the results of the analysis of the descriptive test of empathy for reading interest in the Smart Syahidah School Full Day School (X1) with the level of empathy (Y), the highest score was 134 and the lowest score was 68, besides that the mean value was 109.15 and the standard deviation was 11.21. Meanwhile, through the results of the analysis of the descriptive test of empathy, reading interest and reading fiction show that both of them cause the same level of empathy, both those who do not run iteration programs and those who do not run literacy programs. Meanwhile, through the results of the analysis of the independent sample t-test hypothesis test of the two (sig.) 0.558> 0.05 The results of the empathy variation in Smart Syahidah Full Day School and Balaraja 2 Public Elementary Schools were the same or not significantly different. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Smart Syahidah Full Day School dan Sekolah Dasar negeri Balaraja 2 yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan tigkat empati sekolah dasar yang tidak menerapkan program literasi membaca 15 menit maupun yang menerapkan program literasi membaca. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil empati dari keduanya, teori empati digunakan sebagai bahan kajian ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif komparatif dengan teknik analisis uji deskriptif, dan uji hipotesis independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini melalui hasil analisis uji deskriptif empati minat baca Sekolah Smart Syahidah Full Day School (X1) dengan tingkat empati (Y) diperoleh skor tertinggi 134 dan skor terendah 68, selain itu didapatkan nilai mean 109,15 dan standar deviasi 11,21. Sedangkan melalui hasil analisis uji deskriptif empati minat baca maupun ksukaan membaca fiksi menunjukan dari keduanyasama-sama menyebabkan tingkat empatinya sama tinggi, baik yang tidak mejalankan programl iterasi maupun yang tidak menjalankan program literasi. Sedangkan melalui hasil analisis uji hipotesis independent sample t-test dari keduanya (sig.) 0,558>0,05 Hasil varinasi empati pada siswa sekolah Smart Syahidah Full Day School dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri Balaraja 2 adalah sama atau tidak berbeda secara signifikatnya.
