Abstract

This thesis was analyzed the role of layout, efficiency, productivity and fishbone methods on cost efficiency in increasing on production productivity at PT Panarub Industry's Development Sample Room Department in solving problems which occur when costs exceed the company targets every month and Company's desire to increase output in this period July to December 2018. This research aims to find out the impact of increasing cost efficiency and increasing production productivity by layout, efficiency, productivity and fishbone methods on cost efficiency and increased production productivity in PT Panarub Industry's Development Sample Room Department. These research results shows that there are increase in cost efficiency by 27% per month so there has reduction in actual costs with nominal efficiency. The influence from layout makes the distance change shorter therefore the production process is faster, while in terms of productivity, there has no increase in productivity because the orders that have been received are the targets that should be completed. Tesis ini menganalisa tentang peran metode tata letak, efisiensi, produktivitas dan fishbone terhadap efisiensi biaya dan peningkatan produktivitas produksi pada Departemen Development Sample Room PT Panarub Industry dalam mengatasi masalah yang terjadi terhadap biaya yang melebihi target perusahaan setiap bulannya dan keinginan perusahaan dalam meningkatkan output pada periode Juli sampai dengan Desember tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh peningkatan efisiensi biaya dan peningkatan produktivitas produksi menggunakan metode tata letak, efisiensi, produktivitas dan fishbone terhadap efisiensi biaya dan peningkatan produktivitas produksi pada Departemen Development Sample Room PT Panarub Industry. Hasil dari penelitian ini adanya peningkatan efisiensi biaya sebesar 27% setiap bulan sehingga adanya pengurangan biaya aktual dengan nominal efisiensi tersebut. Pengaruh tata letak membuat adanya perubahan jarak lebih pendek sehingga proses produksi lebih cepat sedangkan dalam segi produktivitas, tidak ada kenaikan produktivitas karena order yang sudah diterima adalah target yang harus diselesaikan.
