Abstract

This study aims to examine “The Effect of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance Moderated by Company Size (Empirical Study on NonCylical Consumer Sector Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for Period 2017-2021)”. This good corporate governance is proxied by the Board of Independent Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and Institutional Ownership. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling method, with several predetermined criteria. The number of samples used in this research is 185 samples from 37 companies. The data analysis technique was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. In processing the data using the application program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 26. The results of the data analysis show that The Independent Board of Commissioners has a positive and significant influence on financial performance. Board of directors and institutional ownership have no influence on financial performance. Company size is unable to moderate the board of independent commissioners and institutional ownership of financial performance, but able to moderate the board of directors on financial performance. Keywords: Board of Independent Commissioners, Board of Directors, Institutional Ownership, Financial Performance, Company Size Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji “Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan yang Dimoderasi oleh Ukuran Perusahaan (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Consumer NonCyclicals yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2017 – 2021)”. Good corporate governance diproksikan dengan Dewan Komisaris Independen, Dewan Direksi dan Kepemilikan Institusional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dengan beberapa kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah 185 sampel dari 37 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Mengolah data menggunakan program aplikasi Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 26. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa Dewan Komisaris Independen memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Dewan direksi dan kepemilikan institusional tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan. Ukuran perusahaan tidak mampu memoderasi dewan komisaris independen, dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap kinerja keuangan, namun mampu memoderasi dewan direksi terhadap kinerja keuangan.
