Abstract

In general, Spa is a traditional health effort with a holistic approach, in the form of a comprehensive treatment using a combination of hydrotherapy, massage, and aromatherapy skills. These activities are supported by additional activities such as facials, manicure pedicures, gyms and other activities. The big effect of carrying out these activities well is the support of a space or place that can provide an atmosphere to influence human psychology to be more relaxed and calm. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the relaxation activities that took place had rules to comply with health protocols for visitors and staff. So that the interior design context must have an element of relevance that supports the rules as recommended by the government. Another output in this proposal is how to implement a zen design based on the activities of the facilities needed during a pandemic, and how to design an interior that can give the impression of a lifestyle in Bali by applying the Tri Hita Karana concept which aims to balance life between God, the environment, and Human. This has a linear vision with the concept of zen interior design which has the meaning of being closer to and in synergy with nature because in the zen aesthetic element, there are special essences in it such as light, sound, aroma, color, material selection, and spatial arrangement. The method to be used in this proposal is a design method used to develop an idea or concept. This method is done based on each of the needs of a place. In conclusion, the Final Project Proposal entitled Designing a Soori Spa Interior Design with a Zen Theme in Bali, raises the context of the application of zen design which aims to give the impression of a lifestyle in Bali supported by Health protocol regulations as the prevention of the contagious disease COVID-19. Keywords: Zen Design, Spa, Bali, Relaxation Secara umum, Spa adalah suatu upaya Kesehatan tradisional dengan pendekatan holistik, berupa perawatan menyeluruh menggunakan kombinasi keterampilan hidroterapi, pijat, dan aromaterapi. Kegiatan tersebut di dukung dengan aktivitas tambahan seperti facial, manicure pedicure, gym dan kegiatan lainnya. Efek besar terlaksananya kegiatan tersebut dengan baik adalah dengan dukungan space atau tempat yang dapat memberikan suasana untuk mempengaruhi psikologi manusia menjadi lebih relax dan tenang. Namun di masa pandemi COVID-19, kegiatan relaksasi yang berlangsung memiliki aturan untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan bagi pengunjung maupun staff. Sehingga konteks perancangan interior ini harus memiliki unsur keterkaitan yang mendukung aturan sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Luaran lain di dalam proposal ini adalah bagaimana implementasi desain zen berdasarkan aktifitas fasilitas yang di perlukan di masa pandemi, dan bagaimana merancang interior yang dapat memberikan kesan gaya hidup di bali dengan menerapkan konsep Tri Hita Karana yang bertujuan sebagai penyeimbangan hidup antara Tuhan, Lingkungan, dan Manusia. Hal ini memiliki visi yang linier dengan dengan konsep desain interior zen yang memiliki pengertian mendekatkan diri, dan bersinergi dengan alam karena di dalam unsur estetika zen, terdapat esensi khusus di dalamnya seperti cahaya, suara, aroma, warna, pemilihan material, dan penataan ruang. Metode yang akan digunakan pada proposal ini adalah metode perancangan yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan ide atau konsep. Metode ini di lakukan berdasarkan setiap masing-masing kebutuhan suatu tempat. Kesimpulannya, Proposal Tugas Akhir yang berjudul Perancangan Desain Interior Spa Soori dengan Tema Zen di Bali, mengangkat konteks penerapan desain zen yang bertujuan memberikan kesan gaya hidup di Bali dengan di dukung peraturan protokol Kesehatan sebagai pencegahan penyakit menular COVID-19.
