Abstract
DKI Jakarta as the State Capital of the Republic of Indonesia is a busy and fastdeveloping megapolitan city. But in the midst of developments in technology, Betawi began to fade and it is feared will be forgotten. To solve this case the writer was inspired to develop it through promotional media with new unique sales through pop culture. This can be used for creating interesting content in developing Betawi culture inspired by K-Pop culture promotional media strategy, without having to deviate from the Betawi cultural norms itself. So promotional media consists of animated videos was choosen as the output to provided through social media. Social media was chosen because the data obtained in the 2019 study currently has a great interest in social media making information, promotions can be more easily conveyed. Keywords : Jakarta, Promotional Media, Social Media, Animation DKI Jakarta sebagai Ibukota Negara Republik Indonesia adalah kota megapolitan yang sibuk dan berkembang pesat. Namun di tengah perkembangan perkembangan teknologi Betawi, mulai memudar dan dikhawatirkan akan dilupakan. Dalam menanggapi hal ini penulis mendapat solusi yang terinspirasi mengembangkan budaya Betawi melalui media promosi dengan unique selling baru melalui budaya pop. Ini bisa menjadi dasar untuk membuat konten yang menarik dalam mengembangkan budaya Betawi yang terinspirasi oleh strategi media promosi budaya K-Pop, tanpa harus menyimpang dari norma-norma budaya Betawi itu sendiri. Sehingga untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut media promosi ini terdiri dari video animasi yang disediakan melalui media sosial. Media sosial dipilih karena data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian 2019 saat ini memiliki minat besar dalam pembuatan informasi media sosial, promosi dapat lebih mudah disampaikan.
