Abstract
The planning of the boys boarding school is one of the buildings in a large complex consisting of facilities at the Daarul Ukhuwah Rembang Islamic boarding school in Central Java, in planning this male dormitory the architect tries to reduce the pessimistic mindset of the general public that boarding schools are identical with slums, dirty, dirty and often lost the items possessed by the santri and in the design of the dormitory also the architects combined all the needs of the santri in one layout, this was intended to provide comfort to the boarding students, namely a devout a devout Muslim. This male dormitory consists of 2 buildings where one building is for male Madrasah Tsanawiyah / junior high school level (average age 13 to 15 years) and other buildings for male dormitory Madrasah Aliyah / senior High School (average age 16 to 18 years) Keywords: Planning, Male Dormitory, a devout Muslim , Daarul Ukhuwah Perancanan asrama putra pondok pesantren adalah salah satu bangunan dalam kompleks besar yang terdari fasilitas pondok pesantren Daarul Ukhuwah Rembang Jawa Tengah, dalamdesain perancanan asrama putra ini arsitek berusaha mengurangi pandangan pesimis masyarakat umum bahwa pesantren identik dengan kumuh, kotor, jorok dan sering hilangnya barang yang di miliki santri dan dalam desain asrama ini juga arsitek mengabungkan semua keperluan santri dalam satu layout, ini bertujuan memberi kenyaman kepada penguna asrama yaitu santri. Asrama putra ini terdari dari 2 bangunan dimana yang satu bangunan untuk santri putra Madrasah Tsanawiyah/ seingkat SMP ( rata-rata usia 13 sampai 15 tahun ) dan bangunan lainnya untuk asrama putra Madrasah Aliyah/SMU ( rata-rata usia 16 sampai 18 tahun ) Kata Kunci : Perencanan, Asrama putra, santri, Daarul Ukhuwah
