Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Return on Asset (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Earning Per Share (EPS), dan Debt To Equity ratio (DER) on stock returns of the pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The population in this study were 12 pharmaceutical companies, and the number of samples obtained in this study were 8 companies. The research methods used in this study are descriptive statistical tests, panel data regressionanalysis, panel data regression model selection, model feasibility tests and hypothesis testing with the analysis tool used is the Eviews 12 program.The data used is secondary data in the form of complete financial reports during the research period.The results of this study indicate that the Return on Asset (ROA) has a negative and significant effect on stock return, Current Ratio (CR) has a negative and significant effect on stock return, Earning Per Share (EPS) has no effect on stock return, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a negative and significant effect on stock return. Keywords: Stock Return, Return on Asset (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Earning Per Share (EPS), dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh return on asset (ROA), current ratio (CR), earning per share (EPS), dan debt to equity ratio (DER) terhadap returnsaham pada perusahaan sub sektor farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017-2021. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 perusahaan farmasi, dan didapatkan 8 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji statistik deskriptif, analisis regresi data panel, pemilihan model regresi data panel, uji kelayakan model dan uji hipotesis dengan alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu program EViews 12. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan yang lengkap selama periode penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Return on Asset (ROA) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham, Current Ratio (CR) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham, Earning Per Share (EPS) tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER)berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham.
