Abstract

Road damage in Indonesia is generally caused by excessive loading. So that the structure of the road pavement must be planned to be able to properly support the condition of the road. Weather and climatic conditions also greatly affect the durability and strength of the road pavement layer. Therefore, much research has been done on the development and modification of asphalt, especially in the AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Concrete) layer to meet the specifications by utilizing Filler from coconuut shell waste to reduce environmental pollution. In this Marshall test, several stages of testing were carried out, namely with porland cement filler to get the KAO Value, and with variations of coconut shell charcoal powded filler and portland cement to produce marshall parameters. This test was carried out on the AC-WC pen asphalt mixture 60/70. The test object was carried out using asphalt content 5% ; 5,5% ; 6% ; 6,5% ; 7% and variations of coconut shell charcoal powder filler and portland cement 6,5:0 ; 4,875:1,625 ; 3,25:3,25 ; 1,625:4,875 ; 0:6,5. The result of the Marshall test with porland cement filler obtained KAO of 5,5%. In all variations of coconut shell charcoal powder filler and portland cement at 30 minutes and 60 minutes immersion, the VMA, VFA, Marshall Stability, and Marshall Quotient values that meet the requirements of Bina Marga 2018. While the VIM and Flow values that meet the requirements are onlu variations of coconut shell charcoal Filler 6,5:0. And the result of the overall IKS Filler variation meet the requirements of the 2018 Highways. Kerusakan jalan di indonesia umumnya disebabkan oleh pembebanan yang terhadi berlebihan (overload). Sehingga struktur perkerasan jalan harus direncanakan untuk dapat mendukung dengan baik kondisi jalan tersebut. Kondisi cuaca dan iklim juga sangat mempengaruhi keawetan dan kekuatan dari lapisan perkerasan jalan. Oleh karena itu banyak diteliti tentang pengembangan dan modifikasi aspal khususnya pada lapisan AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Concrete) untuk memenuhi syarat spesifikasi dengan memanfaatkan bahan pengisi (Filler) dari limbah tempurung kelapa untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Pada pengujian Marshall ini dilakukan beberapa tahap pengujian yaitu dengan filler semen portland untuk mendapatkan nilai KAO, dan dengan variasi filler serbuk arang tempurung kelapa dan semen portland untuk menghasilkan parameter marshall. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada campuran aspal AC-WC pen. 60/70. Benda uji dilakukan menggunakan kadar aspal 5% ; 5,5% ; 6% ; 6,5% ; 7% serta variasi filler serbuk arang tempurung kelapa dan semen portland 6,5:0 ; 4,875:1,625 ; 3,25:3,25 ; 1,625:2,875 ; 0:6,5. Hasil penelitian dari uji marshall dengan filler semen porland didapat KAO 5,5%. Pada keseluruhan variasi filler serbuk arang tempurung kelapa dan semen portland pada rendaman 30 menit dan 60 menit diperoleh nilai VMA, VFA, Stabilitas Marshall, dan Marshall Qoutient yang memenuhi syarat Bina Marga 2018. Sedangkan nilai VIM dan Flow yang memenuhi syarat hanya variasi Filler Arang tempurung kelapa 6,5:0. Serta hasil IKS keseluruhan variasi filler memenuhi syarat Bina Marga 2018.
