Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan pola asuh terhadap self- esteem remaja pada kelas XI di SMAN X Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu self-esteem scale yang dikemukakan oleh Rosenberg, M. (1965) dengan mengacu pada teori Rosenberg dan skla Parenting Style and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) yang dikemukakan oleh Robinson, et al., (1995). Penelitian ini melibatkan perempuan dan laki-laki dengan rentang usia 16 sampai 18 tahun yang masih tinggal bersama orang tua. Dalam penelitian ini didapati jumlah responden sebanyak 138 responden. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Spearman Correlation menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebesar 0,000 denga R square 0,910 maka dapat dinyatakan positif antara pola asuh terhadap self esteem pada remaja kelas XI di SMKN X Bekasi. Kata Kunci : Pola Asuh, Self-esteem, Remaja ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between the parenting style of adolescents in class XI at SMAN X Bekasi and their self-esteem. A correlational quantitative approach is utilized in this study. With reference to Rosenberg's theory, the self-esteem scale proposed by Rosenberg, M. (1965) and Robinson, et al.'s Parenting Style and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ) scale were used in this study. 1995).
