Abstract
The city of Bandung is one of the leading tourist destinations that is well known to both domestic and foreign tourists. The location is very close to the capital city of DKI Jakarta as well as easy access with diverse transportation options, making Bandung an option for traveling. Even residents of the capital also often make the city of Bandung a place for vacation. With the many tourist attractions that have beautiful and attractive sights and neatly arranged cities, to the typical rural tourism in mountainous areas with cool air, tourists can freely choose a vacation destination in Bandung. The potential possessed by the City of Bandung is the background of the task of Designing Final Architecture 80, which is designing Batu Tugu Hotel and Resort located in Isola Village, Bandung. Batu Tugu Hotel and Resort carries the concept of Neo vernacular, the various forms of buildings that exist are metaphors of the culture of the people of West Java, sisingaan dance is a conceptual reference to the block plan and main building of Batu Tugu Hotel and Resort, for supporting buildings and interior concepts. art from generation to generation in West Java. Kota Bandung adalah salah satu destinasi wisata unggulan yang sudah dikenal bagi turis domestik maupun mancanegara. Lokasinya sangat dekat dengan ibukota DKI Jakarta serta kemudahan akses dengan pilihan transportasi yang beragam, menjadikan Bandung sebagai pilihan untuk berwisata. Bahkan warga ibukota juga sering menjadikan Kota Bandung sebagai tempat untuk berlibur. Dengan banyaknya tempat wisata yang memiliki pemandangan asri dan menarik serta kota yang tertata rapi, hingga wisata khas pedesaan di daerah pegunungan dengan udara yang sejuk, wisatawan dapat dengan bebas memilih tujuan berlibur di Bandung. Potensi yang dimiliki oleh Kota Bandung inilah yang melatarbelakangi tugas Perancangan Arsitektur Akhir 80, yaitu mendesain Batu Tugu Hotel dan Resort yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Isola, Bandung. Batu Tugu Hotel dan Resort mengusung konsep Neo vernakuler, berbagai bentuk bangunan yang ada merupakan metafora dari kebudayaan masyarakat Jawa Barat, tarian sisingaan menjadi acuan konsep blok plan dan bangunan utama Batu Tugu Hotel dan Resort,untuk bangunan penunjang dan konsep interior mengambil tema-tema karya seni turun temurun masyarakat Jawa Barat.
