Abstract

ABSTRAK Sebuah bangunan pada umumnya dirancang guna memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia yang tidak hanya sebatas untuk kebutuhan hunian, namun juga dapat meliputi fasilitas rekreasi sebagai sarana penghilang penat. Hotel dan resort seringkali dijadikan sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata yang dipilih. Hotel resort dirancang menggunakan tema modern etnik in architecture di mana, pembentukan desain bangunannya (elemen pembentuknya) melibatkan : bangunan hijau, material lokal, menyatu dengan alam (kawasan hutan kota), efek pencahayaan baik alami maupun buatan sehingga “cahaya dan bayangan“ dapat memperkaya desain yang modern etnik. Arsitektur tropis merujuk pada desain dari bangunan dan ruang (ruang dalam, ruang luar, dan lingkungan buatan) yang didasarkan iklim lokal dan bertujuan untuk menyediakan kenyamanan thermal dan kenyamanan visual, dengan menggunakan energi matahari dan sumber alami lainnya. Hal ini dapat membantu mengembalikan perasaan senang dan semangat. Arsitektur tropis sendiri mengacu pada faktor-faktor iklim, yaitu radiasi matahari yang menghasilkan tinggi rendahnya temperatur maupun kelembaban, dan orientasi arah angin. Membangun pada iklim tropis panas lembab hanya dapat dilakukan dengan baik jika memperhatikan pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Kuningan sebagai salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Barat dipilih karena menjadi salah satu kabupaten yang sedang gencar menggerakan industri pariwisata serta dinilai cocok karena berdekatan dengan objek wisata yang ramai dikunjungi oleh wisatawan lokal maupun internasional. Kata Kunci : Arsitektur Tropis, Hotel Resort dan Modern Etnik ABSTRACT A building is generally designed to meet the needs of human life which are not only limited to residential needs, but can also include recreational facilities as a means of relieving fatigue. Hotels and resorts are often used as one of the selected tourist destinations. The resort hotel is designed using the theme modern ethnic in architecture in which, the formation of the building design (its constituent elements) involves: green buildings, local materials, blending with nature (urban forest areas), lighting effects both natural and artificial so that "light and shadow “ can enrich a modern ethnic design. Tropical architecture refers to the design of buildings and spaces (indoor, outdoor and built environment) that are based on the local climate and aim to provide thermal comfort and visual comfort, using solar energy and other natural sources. This can help restore feelings of joy and enthusiasm. Tropical architecture itself refers to climatic factors, namely solar radiation which produces high and low temperatures and humidity, and the orientation of the wind direction. Building in a hot, humid tropical climate can only be done well if you pay attention to the influence of the surrounding environment. Kuningan as one of the districts in West Java was chosen because it is one of the districts that is currently actively moving the tourism industry and is considered suitable because it is close to tourist objects that are busy being visited by local and international tourists.
