Abstract

ABSTRAK Arsitektur Neo Vernakular adalah salah satu paham atau aliran yang berkembang pada era Post-Modern, aliran ini muncul pada pertengahan tahun 1960- an. Post-Modern lahir di sebabkan pada era modern timbul protes dari para arsitek terhadap pola-pola bangunan yang berkesan monoton( bangunan berbentuk kotak- kotak). Sehingga gaya Arsitektur Tradisional yang dapat memberikan citra/ nuansa Arsitektur berlandaskan budaya, filosofi dan kepercayaan untuk menjaga arsitektur local agar tidak berkurang dan hilang di masa yang akan mendatang. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, karya perancangan ini menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur Neo-Vernakular dengan menggabungkan gaya modern dan kebudayaan tradisional khas Kuningan, Jawa Barat yaitu dengan tidak menghilangkan gaya tradisional pada bentuk atap, material dll. Kata kunci : Hotel Resort, Post Modern, Tradisional Arsitektur Neo Vernacular. ABSTRACT Neo Vernacular Architecture is one of the ideas or schools that developed in the Post-Modern era, this school emerged in the mid-1960s. Post-Modern was born because in the modern era there were protests from architects against building patterns that seemed monotonous (boxy buildings). So that the traditional architectural style can provide an architectural image/feel based on culture, philosophy and beliefs to maintain local architecture so that it does not diminish and disappear in the future. To achieve that goal, this design work uses a Neo- Vernacular architectural approach by combining modern style and traditional culture typical of Kuningan, West Java, namely by not eliminating the traditional style of roof shapes, materials etc. Keywords: Resort Hotel, Post Modern, Neo-Traditional Architecture vernacular.
