Abstract

The Senen intersection is one of the crucial intersections in Jakarta, so it is necessary to analyze the performance of the Senen intersection to provide the most effective way of solving the density that occurs. By using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual method (MKJI 1997) and processing primary and secondary data as a basis for determining capacity values, degrees of saturation, queue lengths and delays. Meanwhile, to analyze road segments, including traffic volume, speed data, geometric conditions, and environmental conditions, data is needed as an analysis of intersection performance consisting of capacity, degree of saturation and density values. The analysis is carried out by making calculations and comparing the performance of signalized intersections between the conditions before and after the Underpass Extension. The results of the research on the performance of the Simpang Senen stated that the condition after the operation of the Underpass Senen Extention only reduced the value of the delay but was still in the service level category F. where the delay value was 3106 seconds/pcu before the Underpass and 364 seconds/pcu peak morning, 103 seconds/pcu peak hour afternoon and 437 seconds/smp in the afternoon peak hours after the Senen Extention Underpass. Meanwhile, for the prediction results for the next 10 years, assuming environmental conditions do not change and the increase in vehicle growth is 5%, a delay value of 424 seconds/pcu for morning peak hours is obtained, 194 seconds/pcu for afternoon peak hours and 974 seconds for evening peak hours. . Meanwhile, the performance of the Jl Letjen Suprapto section shows that the service level value is B (VCR = 0.11-0.31) with an average speed of 30 km/hour. Keywords: Traffic jam, Signalized Intersection, Underpass Simpang Senen merupakan salah satu simpang yang cukup krusial di Jakarta sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kinerja simpang senen untukdapat memberikan cara yang paling efektif dalam pemecahan kepadatan yang terjadi. Dengan menggunakan metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI 1997) dan mengolah data primer dan sekunder sebagai dasar untuk menentukan nilai kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, panjang antrian dan tundaan. Sementara untuk menalisis ruas jalan antara lain volume lalu lintas, data kecepatan, kondisi geometri, dan kondisi lingkungan kemudian data diperlukan sebagai analisis kinerja simpang yang terdiri dari kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan serta nilai kepadatan. Analisis dilakukan dengan membuat perhitungan dan membandingkan kinerja simpang bersinyal antara keadaan sebelumdan sesudah adanya Underpass Extention. Hasil penelitian kinerja Simpang Senen dinyatakan bahwa kondisi setelah dioperasikannya Underpass Senen Extention hanya menurunkan nilai tundaan namun masih dalam kategori tingkat pelayanan F. dimana nilai tundaan sebesar 3106 detik/smp sebelum adanya Underpass dan 364 detik/smp puncak pagi, 103 detik/smp jam puncak siang dan 437 detik /smp pada jam puncak sore sesudah adanya Underpass Senen Extention. Sementara untuk hasil prediksi 10 tahun mendatang dengan asumsi kondisi lingkungan yang tidak berubah dan kenaikan pertumbuhan kendaraan sebesar 5% maka didapatkan nilai tundaan sebesar 424 detik/smp untuk jam puncak pagi, 194 detik/smp pada jam puncak siang dan 974 detik pada jam puncak sore. Sementara untuk kinerja ruas jl letjen Suprapto menunjukan bahwa nilai tingkat pelayanan B (VCR = 0,11-0,31) dengan kecepatan rata rata 30 km/jam. Kata Kunci: Kemacetan, Simpang Bersinyal, Underpass
