Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Company Size on firm value. The population used in this study is the Basic Materials sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This data source uses secondary data in the form of financial reports from each Basic Materials Company from 2016-2020. The population of this research is 86 Basic Materials companies. The samples used were 17 companies in the basic materials sector using purposive sampling. Methods of data collection using the method of literature. The data analysis method uses panel data regression analysis with the help of Eviews 12 software. This study proves that Return on Asset and Debt to Equity Ratio have no effect on firm value. Firm size has a significant negative effect on firm value. Keywords: Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, Firm Size and Firm Value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengertahui pengaruh Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan Sektor Basic Materials yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sumber data ini menggunakan data sekunder dalam bentuk laporan keuangan dari masing-masing Perusahaan Basic Materials dari tahun 2016-2020. Populasi penelitian ini terdapat 86 perusahaan Basic Materials. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 17 perusahaan sektor basic materials dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan software Eviews 12. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Return on Asset dan Debt to Equity Ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
