Abstract
Resort hotels in a provincial capital are places that are expected to be able to support all needs in several tourist attractions as temporary places to stay. With many elements of the building expected to be able to present local culture and introduce surrounding tourism quickly to visitors. West Java has noble values that have been inherent since the past, both reflected formally and informally in people's lives. West Java is also a province that has a complex plurality. Local concepts in the Sundanese tradition. Responding to the conditions of locality and nature around it, the design of this building is so difficult but still able to give its own character to the design building that is very integrated with the surrounding environment without damaging what already exists in nature itself. With the hope of creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere to rest for visitors with the atmosphere of familiar nature and culture. Keywords: Tourism, Resort hotels, Sundanese. Hotel Resort di dalam suatu ibukota provinsi merupakan tempat yang diharapkan dapat menunjang segala kebutuhan di beberapa tempat wisata sebagai tempat menginap sementara. Dengan banyak elemen elemen bangunan yang di harapkan juga bisa mempresentasikan kebudayaan lokal dan memperkenalkan wisata sekitar dengan cepat kepada para pengunjung. Jawa Barat memiliki nilainilai luhur yang telah melekat sejak masa lalu baik yang tercermin secara formal maupun informal dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Jawa Barat juga merupakan provinsi yang memiliki pluralitas yang kompleks. Konsep-konsep lokal dalam tradisi Sunda. Merespon kondisi lokalitas serta alam di sekitarnya menjadikan perancangan ini sangaat begitu sulit namun tetap mampu memberikan karakter tersendiri pada bangunan perancangan yang sangat menyatu dengan alam sekitar tanpa merusak apa yang sudah ada di alam itu sendiri. Dengan harapan terciptanya suasan yang teduh dan nyaman untuk beristirahat bagi para pengunjung dnegan suasan amengenal alam dan juga kebudayaan. Kata Kunci: Pariwisata, hotel Resort, Sunda
