Abstract
ABSTRAK Paving block adalah salah yang digunakan untuk perkerasan suatu area. Paving block biasanya digunakan pada halaman, trotoar, tempat parkir, dan jalan kampung. Secara umum komposisi paving block memiliki kesamaan dengan beton pada umumnya namun tidak menggunakan agregat kasar, Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kuat tekan dan kuat lentur pada paving block. Salah satunya dengan memberikan bahan tambah berupa serat sabut kelapa tanpa perlakuan dan perlakuan perendaman NaOH 5%. Pada penelitian ini pengujian mengacu pada SNI-03-0691-1996 (kuat tekan dan penyerapan air) Benda uji yang digunakan untuk kuat tekan paving block berukuran ukuran 6cm x 6cm x 6cm dengan kombinasi perbandingan volume pasir : semen sebesar 1 : 2,75, sedangkan penambahan serat sabut kelapa sebesar 0%; 1%; 1,5%; dan 2,0%, dari berat semen. Untuk Jumlah sampel untuk setiap variasi adalah 6 buah dan akan dilakukan pengujian kuat tekan dan penyerapan air, Serat sabut kelapa yang digunakan berasal dari pasar Cibubur, Jakarta Timur. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu Variasi paving block normal mendapatkan hasil pada pengujian kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari sebesar K-215,06. Variasi paving block dengan penambahan serat serabut kelapa tanpa perlakuan sebanyak 1%, 1,5%, dan 2% dari berat semen, mendapatkan hasil nilai rata – rata maksimum diperoleh variasi 2% pada umur 28 sebesar K-250,73, Variasi paving block dengan penambahan serat serabut kelapa dengan perlakuan perendaman NaOH, sebanyak 1%, 1,5%, dan 2% dari berat semen, mendapatkan hasil nilai rata – rata maksimum diperoleh variasi 1% pada umur 28 sebesar K-328,28. Hasi lentur pengujian kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari nilai ratarata maksimum diperoleh variasi 1,5% sebesar K-8,14. Paving blocks are usually used in yards, sidewalks, parking lots, and village roads. In general, the composition of paving blocks has similarities with concrete in general but does not use coarse aggregate. Therefore, a study was carried out to increase the compressive strength and flexural strength of paving blocks. One of them is by providing additional ingredients in the form of coco fiber without treatment and 5% NaOH immersion treatment. In this study the tests referred to SNI-03-0691-1996 (compressive strength and water absorption) The test specimens used for the compressive strength of paving blocks were 6cm x 6cm x 6cm in size with a combined volume ratio of sand: cement of 1: 2.75, while the addition of coconut fiber is 0%; 1%; 1.5%; and 2.0%, by weight of cement. The number of samples for each variation is 6 and will be tested for compressive strength and water absorption. The coco fiber used comes from the Cibubur market, East Jakarta. The conclusion of this study is that the normal paving block variation results in a compressive strength test at the age of 28 days of K-215.06. Variations of paving blocks with the addition of coconut fiber without treatment as much as 1%, 1.5%, and 2% of the weight of the cement, get the maximum average value obtained by a 2% variation at the age of 28 of K-250.73, Variation of paving blocks with the addition of coconut fiber with the NaOH immersion treatment, as much as 1%, 1.5%, and 2% of the weight of cement, to get the maximum average value obtained by a variation of 1% at age 28 of K-328.28. The flexural results of the compressive strength test at the age of 28 days the maximum average value obtained a 1.5% variation of K-8.14.
