Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul : Analisis pemanfaatan limbah cangkang kerang darah sebagai bahan campuran pada agregat halus terhadap kuat tekan beton, Nama : Siti Dela Nurpadilah, Nim : 41119210027, Dosen Pembimbing : Jef Franklyn Sinulingga, ST., MT, 2023. Program pembangunan infrastruktur dapat mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan kebutuhan material konstruksi terutama beton. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan beton, maka sumber daya alam yang digunakan sebagai material penyusun beton akan semakin berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh cangkang kerang darah sebagai bahan campuran pada agregat halus dengan variasi 0%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% terhadap kuat tekan beton pada umur 7 hari, 14 hari, dan 28 hari dengan total benda uji yaitu sebanyak 42 buah berbentuk silinder ukuran 15 cm x 30 cm serta kuat tekan rencana pada penelitian ini adalah 30 Mpa. Dengan metode eksperimen yang dilakukan di laboratorium Teknik Sipil Universitas Mercu Buana, hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah bahwa kuat tekan dengan pencampuran cangkang kerang darah sebanyak 5% dan 10% dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan sebesar 6,1% dan 8,91% terhadap beton tanpa penggunaan cangkang kerang darah sebagai bahan campuran agregat halus dengan masing – masing kuat tekan yang dihasilkan pada umur 28 hari yaitu sebesar 32,17 Mpa dan 33,02 Mpa. Sedangkan penambahan sebanyak 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% mengalami penurunan kuat tekan dibandingkan dengan variasi 0%, dan pada variasi tersebut tidak memenuhi syarat standar kuat tekan beton umur 28 hari. ABSTRACT Title : Analysis of utilization of blood clam shell waste as a mixture of fine aggregate on concrete compressive strength, Name : Siti Dela Nurpadilah, Nim : 41119210027, Supervisor : Jef Franklyn Sinulingga, ST., MT, 2023. The infrastructure development program can indicate an increase in the need for construction materials, especially concrete. Along with the increasing demand for concrete, the natural resources used as concrete constituent materials will decrease. This study aims to determine how the effect of blood clam shells as a mixture of fine aggregate with variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% on the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 7 days, 14 days , and 28 days with a total of 42 specimens in the form of a cylinder measuring 15 cm x 30 cm and the compressive strength of the plan in this study was 30 MPa. With the experimental method carried out in the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Mercu Buana University, The results obtained in this study are that the compressive strength by mixing blood clam shells as much as 5% and 10% can increase the compressive strength of 6.1% and 8.91% for concrete without the use of blood clam shells as a fine aggregate mixture with each respectively the compressive strength produced at the age of 28 days is 32.17 Mpa and 32.97 Mpa. While the addition of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% decreased the compressive strength compared to the 0% variation, and these variations did not meet the standard requirements for concrete compressive strength at 28 days.
