Abstract

Total sales of Passenger car in The World from 2017 to 2020 have always increased. However, in Indonesia, total passenger car sales from 2017 to 2020 have increased and decreased (fluctuated). Coupled with the emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic at the beginning of 2020, this has an impact on the Automotive Industry Sector which produces car parts. With this increase, it causes excess production and storage costs for inaccurate demand forecasting. Needed a forecast in predicting the production of car spare parts in the future period based on the year using past data. So that from the data of past movements, the trend of the movement can be analyzed. Forecasting is applied using Single Exponential Smoothing using 1 parameter, namely alpha (). In this study, forecasting uses actual demand data in the 2019-2021 time span with a time span of 36 periods by year. And the results of the study using Single Exponential Smoothing with () = 0.20 obtained the lowest Error value of 2.2%. Savings of Rp. 22,682,250/M²/Month as Inventory costs. Key Word : Forecasting, Exponential Smoothing, MSE, MAD Total penjualan Mobil penumpang di Dunia sejak Tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2020 selalu mengalami peningkatan. Namun di Indonesia total Penjualan Mobil Penumpang sejak Tahun 2017 sampai 2020 mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan (fluktuatif). Ditambah dengan muncul nya Pandemi Covid-19 pada awal Tahun 2020, Hal tersebut berdampak pada Sektor Industri Automotive yang memproduksi sparepart Mobil. Dengan tingginya tingkat fluktuasi, menyebabkan terjadinya kelebihan produksi dan dan biaya penyimpanan karena peramalan permintaan yang kurang tepat. Diperlukan suatu peramalan dalam memprediksi produksi sparepart Mobil di periode mendatang berdasarkan tahun dengan menggunakan data masa lalu. Sehingga dari pergerakan data masa lalu dapat dianalisa pergerakan trend. Peramalan diterapkan dengan menggunakan Single Exponential Smoothing dengan menggunakan 1 parameter yaitu alpha (). Pada penelitian ini peramalan menggunakan data actual demand pada range waktu Tahun 2019-2021 dengan range waktu sebanyak 36 periode berdasarkan tahun. Dan hasil penelitian menggunakan Single Exponential Smoothing dengan () = 0.20 didapat nilai Error paling rendah sebesar 2,2% Penghematan Rp 22.682.250/M²/ Bulan sebagai biaya Inventory.
