Abstract

Resort hotels are hotels located in tourist areas, where some of the visitors who stay do not carry out business activities. Generally located quite far from the city center as well as functioned as a resting place. In accordance with the purpose of the existence of a resort hotel, which is in addition to staying overnight as well as a means of recreation. In Indonesia, marine tourism has made a significant contribution to economic growth. The contribution of marine tourism to national development is in the form of providing jobs and other economic activities as well as earning foreign exchange for the country. West Java has many areas with very promising marine tourism potential. One of the world's best-known maritime tourism is Mount Tangkuban Perahu. But it turns out that there are still many places in West Java that have potential that is not inferior to Tangkuban Perahu, for example, Kuningan Regency. Therefore the need for a place to pamper yourself in a safe and comfortable place, for example like a hotel resort. The Kuningan area is still dominated by forests, so to take advantage of this potential, a forest-oriented design concept is needed, namely Eco Forest. The Eco Forest theme is an area design concept that blends with nature and is combined with the shape of the building by adopting the surrounding culture so that visitors can feel the nuances and beauty of nature and culture as a whole. Keywords: Hotel Resort, Kuningan, Eco Forest Hotel resort adalah hotel yang terletak dikawasan wisata, dimana sebagian pengunjung yang menginap tidak melakukan kegiatan usaha. Umumnya terletak cukup jauh dari pusat kota sekaligus difungsikan sebagai tempat peristirahatan. Sesuai dengan tujuan dari keberadaan hotel resort, yaitu selain untuk menginap juga sebagai sarana rekreasi. Di Indonesia, wisata bahari telah memberikan sumbangan yang berarti bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kontribusi pariwisata bahari ini terhadap pembangunan nasional berupa penyediaan lapangan pekerjaan dan aktivitas ekonomi lainnya serta pemasukan devisa bagi Negara. Jawa Barat memiliki banyak daerah dengan potensi wisata bahari yang sangat menjanjikan.Salah satu wisata bahari yang sudah dikenal oleh dunia adalah Gunung Tangkuban Perahu.Tapi ternyata masih banyak tempat di Jawa barat yang memiliki potensi yang tidak kalah dengan Tangkuban Perahu, contohnya adalah Kabupaten Kuningan. Oleh karena itu perlunya sebuah tempat untuk memanjakan diri di tempat yang aman dan nyaman, contohnya seperti Hotel Resort. Kawasan kuningan masih di dominasi dengan hutan sehingga untuk memanfaatkan potensi tersebut perlu sebuah konsep perancangan yang berwawawasan hutan yaitu Eco Forest. Tema Eco Forest yaitu sebuah konsep Perancangan Kawasan yang menyatu dengan Alam dan di padukan dengan bentuk bangunan dengan mengadopsi kebudayaan sekitar sehingga pengunjung bisa merasakan nuansa dan keindahan alam dan budaya secara utuh..
